In a profound moment of spiritual significance, Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited (HIMU) joyfully celebrated the affirmation of its Gambia National Overseer, Rev. Patrick Taylor, into the esteemed office of Apostle. This sacred event took place during the recently concluded HIMU Global Conference, marking a historic milestone in the ministry’s journey and affirming God’s ongoing work in raising leaders for His Kingdom.
HIMU, a vibrant global association of churches, ministries, and ministers, is united by a covenant to fulfill the Great Commission. Under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Darlingston G. Johnson, the organization has planted over 450 churches, schools, and ministries across more than 25 nations, serving tens of thousands of members. With a vision encapsulated in the call for “A World Where No One Lives Or Dies Without Christ” and “Winning The Lost At All Costs,” HIMU spans six continents, fostering unity across racial, ethnic, and cultural lines while advancing the Gospel through church planting, education, and humanitarian efforts.
The affirmation draws deep inspiration from Scripture, particularly Ephesians 4:11: “And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.” Far beyond a mere title, the apostolic office represents a divine calling, a commissioning, and a weighty responsibility. Apostles are entrusted to establish churches, govern with spiritual authority, equip believers, and propel the Kingdom of God forward in new territories and generations.
With humility and profound honor, the ministry now joyfully introduces and celebrates:
Rev. Patrick Taylor Now ordained and recognized as Apostle Patrick S. Taylor

Apostle Patrick S. Taylor, alongside his wife (a Senior Pastor), has faithfully served as National Overseer of Harvest Intercontinental Ministries in The Gambia. Their leadership has been instrumental in establishing and growing the work in the nation, inspiring countless lives and shaping the future of the church there.
This apostolic mantle brings greater grace for leadership, deeper spiritual authority, an expanded vision, and a reinforced mandate to build, plant, and raise generations committed to Christ across nations. It reflects God’s sovereign timing in elevating faithful servants to carry fresh dimensions of influence and impact.
As a united family in HIMU, members stand together in prayer and unwavering support for Apostle Taylor. They trust in the same God who commissioned the apostles in the Book of Acts, believing He continues to raise apostolic voices for today’s generation to advance His purposes amid global challenges.
Congratulations to Apostle Patrick S. Taylor!
